Valley Leadership's Community Dialogue Series
Sponsored by SCF Arizona Valley Leadership alumni and community friends gathered at the January 29th at St. Joseph's Hospital Goldman Auditorium to dialogue on “The Economy and Its Impact”. This collaborative event was sponsored by SCF Arizona and St. Joseph's Hospital along with WESTMARC, Phoenix Community Alliance, East Valley Partnership and the Alliance of Arizona Non profits.
Valley Leadership's 60th Annual Man & Woman of the Year Luncheon
On April 16, 2009, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa, Valley Leadership was proud to present the 2008 Man & Woman of the Year award to Martin L. Shultz, VL Class 5, and Denise D. Resnik. These two distinguished citizens share a passion for improving the community and have demonstrated that passion through their exemplary service. Their leadership has been an inspiration to many others throughout the community.
This annual event was sponsored by Premier Leadership Partners, APS, SRP & The Arizona Republic; along with Major Contributing Partners, SCF Arizona and Wells Fargo; and Community Steward Partners, BlueCross BlueShield of Arizona, USAA and US Airways.

The adults in Class 30 and teens from VTL Class 13 joined together for a program day on Environmental Consciousness and Sustainability on Friday, April 3, 2009. Mesa Community College graciously hosted the day at their main campus library.
